Communicating with Families

We understand how important communication is with your family about the day to day happenings and your child’s progress throughout the year. We seek to provide optimal communication with our families and there are many ways we hope to achieve this:

  1. Storypark: This is the platform we use for your child’s learning portfolio, which allows you to follow and communicate with us in real time regarding your child’s development;
  2. Emails: We send emails to families, so please make sure you check yours regularly;
  3. Family Notice Board at the sign-in desk;
  4. Notes sent home in your child’s bags; 
  5. Talk to us at the entrance, or feel free to make time to sit down to talk with an educator or the ECT about your child at any time!
  6. Families are invited to join us for our events which we hold throughout the year. These special occasions will give you a chance to see your child/children in action at Preschool. So keep a look out in your for information about these events.
  7. HubHello is our web-based platform to manage and view your child’s enrolment and payments whilst at Birralee. Here you can view your invoices, family and child’s details.
  8. Birralee will occasionally send families a text messages via your mobile phone. This is used only in cases of emergency.
