Our Community

Birralee Extended Hours Preschool believes in belonging and building strong connections with our families and the community around us.

And so Birralee participates in our local community and throws our support behind a number of initiatives including: welcoming visits from local school students, inviting local principals to join our Parent Information Nights as our guest speakers, suporting NOVA Employment work placement programs and by providing work experience for local child care students from Loftus TAFE and local universities.

We also actively support and promote Birralee Family Businesses and are involved in local fairs and festivals and encourage parents and carers who have particular passions or backgrounds in music, art, crafts, community services, to become involved in the activities of the preschool.Not only that our Director Lorna is a long-time Como local spending her primary school years at Como West School as did her husband John!
